A Message from our Principal

At Oakland Elementary, we believe in preparing students to become confident, capable 21st-century learners. Our mission is to provide rigorous academic opportunities while also nurturing creativity, collaboration, and essential life skills. Above all, we prioritize school safety—ensuring that every child feels loved, valued, and secure each day.

My vision is to inspire a love for lifelong learning by creating an environment where every student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged.

On a personal note, I’m a proud daughter, wife, and mother. My husband Brandon and I have two wonderful children, Bennett and Lilli. As a family, we enjoy trips to the beach, movie nights, and playing games together. I’m also an avid reader who enjoys mysteries and beach-themed novels.

The 2025-2026 school year marks my 24th year in education and my 13th year as an administrator. Over the years, I’ve served in various roles that have shaped my philosophy as an educator. The most valuable lesson I’ve learned is the importance of building strong partnerships between home and school. When families and educators work together, students thrive—knowing they are supported by a team that believes in them.
